Cold therapy is all the rage these days but truth be told, this practice was commercially introduced in the 1800s in the Nordic countries. In order to save firewood in the winter season, Nordic people started taking ice baths. They quickly discovered the multiple benefits of cold plunging for 1-10 minutes in 35-50 degrees water. Some health benefits from cold plunging are:
